Debra has owned and operated The Write Direction since January 1, 1989. With more than twenty years of experience in the field of direct marketing, she has focused her writing efforts in this area. Debra is the ‘98-'99 Past President of the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association's (RMDMA) Board of Directors. In 2004, RMDMA honored Ms. Jason with the Creative Person of the Year Award. From 1994-1997 she served on the Board of Directors for the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Kaua`i North Shore Business Council and the Princeville Public Library, serves on the Public Relations Committee for the Kauai Board of Realtors and served as the 2005-2006 Chairperson for the Women in Business Roundtable on Kaua`i. As of 2007, she is also a member of the Zonta Club of Hanalei.
Debra received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The City University of New York at Queens College in 1975 and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1977.
